Food tour – Thematic tailored tours – in my ex-Jewish neighborhood

For individuals and small groups that want to do non-touristy tours.
It is my pleasure to invite you to this exciting food tour combined with history
and culture. As my Grandmother from Platania village was saying “A satisfied
stomach secures a happy personal relationship”.
Getting a great deal of experience on Mediterranean healthy food makes
fantastic trip.

Where we start

We meet you outside the Tourist Port in town under the bus shelter. Our local,
knowledgeable Greek person will take you around and explain everything in English.

First Stop

A visit to the local Farmers’s Market to see, buy and taste Rhodian produced fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, olives, etc.

Second Stop

A visit to a 600-year old Coffee place in the Old Town along with
some local sweets, loukoum, submarine, melekouni.

Third Stop

Taste different types of olive oil, olives and olive paste.

Fourth Stop

Stop in a winery of local wines to try different types of Rhodian wine, Ouzo or Suma.

Optional

It can include guiding in the Medieval sections, the Palace or
the Museum.
